Formidable Footprint – National Neighborhood Exercise Series

In many parts of the county with the coming of spring comes the posting of Tornado Watches and Warnings by the National Weather Service.

As the 2011 tornado season starts to become active now is the time for neighborhood, community and faith based organizations to assess their disaster planning and response capabilities by participating in the Formidable Footprint Tornado Exercise scheduled for April 30 2011.

The Formidable Footprint National Neighborhood Exercise Series has been designed for CERTs, Neighborhood Watch Programs, Neighborhood Associations, Community / Faith Based Organizations, Citizen Corps, Fire Corps and others to assess their disaster readiness and response capabilities via a meaningful internet based exercise opportunity.

There is NO CHARGE for participation in any of the Formidable Footprint exercises.
