Teaching Fire Safety for people with disabilities

I am attaching a guide for teaching fire safety for people with disabilities that includes information about how to teach people with hearing and sight impairments as well as physical or mental impairments! The impetus is on engaging with differently abled people in a way that focuses on their responsibility as community members where possible while providing practical advice. An interesting read and on e that I thought was important to share with you. Please do download and use where appropriate. Thanks.

I have also written "Evacuation with visually impaired" in our school as part our school contingency plan.

The guide is a great resource!  It is important to teach our people with disabilities about fire safety. I wish our Ugandan Universities take the guide as one of the course units. Iam sending a copy of this guide to Kyambogo University where I did a postgraduate diploma in special needs education(PGDSNE).
