Worried about the potential for a pandemic flu outbreak and its possible effect on education, I have put together a short (five slide) PowerPoint presentation for anyone working with children and young people, which gives practical advice while using the short 1948 film, 'Coughs and Sneezes spread diseases'. This is a light hearted educational film which makes good points while still being entertaining even now. The advice in the PowerPoint is clearly laid out and easy to understand! Please use and pass on to as many colleagues that who will find it useful. I will be making this available on my school network tomorrow along with instructions to go through the PowerPoint in form tutor time (home room time) this week, hopefully reaching at least 1600 pupils.
