You lucky person! I wish I was there! I have always wanted to go to Hawaii, where Pu O' O' crater has been erupting continuously since 1983! Did you get me any lava? (LOL) I hope you are well, I'm just going to add the break-out session information to the google doc!

We just got back from Hawaii where one of the big island's volcanoes was erupting. To sit at night and watch it under a pitch black sky is amazing. It was a bit strange, though, to drive down one of the most well lit 4-lane suburban roads (with street lights!). It suddenly ends because lava had flowed over the road, eaten a few subdivision houses and then cooled into an impossibly uneven and endless surface of lava rock.
