I have put 40 videos, 50 plus photographs and a plethora of curriculum resources, some that I have made myself and some that I believe to be good practice from others onto this site. I have put 40 videos, 50 plus photographs and a plethora of curriculum resources, some that I have made myself and some that I believe to be good practice from others onto this site. However there are only perhaps 10 people on this site of 225 members that have added anything themselves. To thrive as a community we need to share the resources that we have in order to identify best practice and be able to positively discourage bad practice when necessary. My reasons, I think were two-fold. I wanted to connect with teachers looking for creative new ideas on how to reach students, and wanted to become a resource to educators attempting to create or promote disaster resilience education. While I am busy myself with tours, I would definitely like to see more activity. I think that this somehow slipped thru the cracks amongst so many other things, but would welcome more contact (polking if you will) by folks that want to interact and discuss.
